A laptop computer is a personal computer for mobile use; it integrates most of the typical components of a desktop computer, including a display, a keyboard, a touchpad (also known as a trackpad), and speakers into a single unit. A laptop's AC adapter is used to charge the rechargeable battery or run the unit for longer periods of time.
